Simmer a 750mL bottle of red wine on stovetop with 2 tablespoons of mulling spices, 2 oz of syrup, 4 dashes bitters, and 4-5 orange wheels (add 1/4 cup of your favourite brandy or liqueur if desired). Serve in heat-safe mug.
